Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist specializing in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to join our team at Volcaino. As a Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing AI and NLP models to enhance our SaaS products. Key Responsibilities:

AI and NLP Model Development:

1. Design, develop, and implement AI and NLP models to extract insights, sentiment analysis, and other relevant information from unstructured data.
2. Work on developing solutions to optimize data processing, feature extraction, and model training for improved accuracy and performance.

Data Analysis and Insights:

1. Conduct exploratory data analysis, visualize data, and derive actionable insights to guide decision-making and model refinement.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.

Model Evaluation and Improvement:

1. Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and iterate on models to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and generalization capabilities.
2. Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, NLP, and related domains to incorporate cutting-edge techniques into our products.

Collaboration and Communication:

1. Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to integrate AI and NLP capabilities seamlessly into our SaaS products.
2. Present findings, methodologies, and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing AI and NLP models, particularly in sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, text summarization, or similar domains.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with AI/NLP libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, NLTK, spaCy).
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques, deep learning, and NLP frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for continuous learning.
